About the role

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Electrician to join our team at CMP CORP PTY LTD. As an Electrician, you will be responsible for performing a variety of electrical installation, maintenance, and repair tasks across the Gold Coast. This is a casual role which may lead to full time for the right applicant.

What you'll be doing

Diagnose, repair, and maintain electrical systems and equipment, including power, lighting, and control systems

Install new electrical components, wiring, and equipment according to plans and specifications

Interpret and follow electrical diagrams, blueprints, and other technical documents

Perform preventive maintenance on electrical systems and equipment

Ensure compliance with relevant safety standards and regulations

Collaborate with other tradespeople and team members to complete projects effectively

Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used

What we're looking for

Qualified Electrician with a current Australian electrical license

Minimum 2 years of experience working as a qualified Electrician in a commercial or industrial setting

Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical diagrams and schematics

Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to safety

Ability to work independently or as part of a team

Good communication and customer service skills

Mechanical aptitude
