Are you looking for a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity? Ayers Rock Resort is searching for a Grader Operator to live and work onsite at Yulara, NT which is 20 min drive from Uluru, one of Australia's most iconic and culturally significant landmarks.

We’re seeking a skilled Grader Operator with proven experience in road construction and maintenance, ideally within council or remote environments. This role provides the opportunity to work on diverse infrastructure projects across our 1000-hectare resort township, maintaining unsealed roads, fire trails, walking tracks and drainage systems. You’ll become a true specialist in your field — the closest contracting partner is over five hours away!

We are extremely committed to the safety of our employees, guests and community who visit town, this also needs to be a strong focus of you too! As our town is spread across a large range of land, an Australian Open Driver's License is required for all our trades roles.

Key Duties

• Operate grader machinery to maintain unsealed roads, fire trails, access tracks and walking paths.
• Carry out drainage works, including spoon drains, swales and erosion control.
• Complete daily pre-start checks, logbooks and minor servicing of plant.
• Assist with vegetation control and upkeep of lookouts and guest-use areas.
• Use tablets to access job requests, record completion and upload photos.
• Support the Technical Services team by assisting with other site machinery and operational tasks when required.

You'll get a generous hourly rate, free accommodation at our contractor's camp with utilities included, as well as breakfast, lunch and dinner provided for in our contractors' kitchen 24/7. You'll have access to the onsite gym and receive a contractor's card to visit our Outback Hotel on your days off.

This is a permanent opportunity as a FIFO Tradesperson, seeing you working 10-hour shifts.
