Experienced Nanny – 36+ hrs per week over 4 days

We are looking for a warm, reliable and experienced nanny to join our family and care for our 8-month-old son, Monte. This is a long-term role (36+ hours per week), Monday to Thursday 8am–5pm, with Friday afternoons and additional ad hoc hours available if more hours desired.

About Us
We are a busy family of three running a small business and living in beautiful Queens Park (directly on the park), just a 10-minute walk to Bondi Junction and 20 minutes to Bronte Beach. We also have a gentle and well-behaved whippet, so you’ll need to be comfortable around dogs. One of us often works from home, and we value open, supportive communication with our nanny.

Monte is a curious, sweet-natured baby who loves his food, going for walks and spending time in the water. We’re looking for someone who will nurture his development while providing a safe, caring and engaging environment.

What We’re Looking For
The ideal candidate will have:

Working With Children Check (WWCC)

A valid police clearance

Full working rights in Australia and an Australian bank account

Current first aid training

Experience caring for babies under 1 year

Strong childcare references

A caring, positive, reliable and trustworthy nature

Initiative, patience and a genuine love for children

Non-smoker

The Role

36+ hours per week (Monday–Thursday, 8am–5pm)

Some Friday afternoons and ad hoc hours if desired or flexibility available

Long-term, ongoing position
