About the role

Join PharmacySmart Compounding as a Compounding Pharmacist based in East Melbourne, VIC. This full-time role offers the opportunity to apply your pharmaceutical expertise in a specialised compounding environment, with full training provided. As a Compounding Pharmacist, you will play a vital role in delivering tailored medication solutions to patients, contributing to PharmacySmart Compounding's mission of providing exceptional individualised care.

What you'll be doing

• Preparing and dispensing customised pharmaceutical compounds to meet specific patient needs
• Collaborating with healthcare providers to understand patient requirements and formulate effective treatment solutions
• Ensuring strict adherence to quality control protocols and regulatory guidelines
• Providing expert pharmaceutical advice and education to patients, caregivers and other healthcare professionals
• Maintaining detailed records and inventory of compounded products
• Contributing to the continuous improvement of compounding processes and procedures

What we're looking for

• Registered Pharmacist with a current AHPRA license
• Minimum 1-year experience in retail or hospital pharmacy setting
• Strong understanding of pharmaceutical compounding principles, techniques and regulations
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Exceptional communication and customer service abilities
• Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
