The Opportunity

We're looking for a skilled HV Electrician to ensure our world-class equipment operates safely and efficiently. In this role, you will perform high-voltage electrical maintenance, troubleshooting and repairing Komatsu's heavy equipment and other machinery, ensuring safety, quality, and operational reliability.

Roster: 7/7 day shift roster (night shift as required), 12.5 hour shifts

Role Located: Callide, Curragh, Baralaba, Dawson Mine Sites - operating from our Gladstone Branch

What we are Looking For:

• Relevant HV Electrical Trade qualification and certification.
• Proven experience as an HV Electrician in the automotive or heavy equipment industry, with a focus on mining mobile plant, ideally Komatsu machinery.
• Strong knowledge of high-voltage electrical systems and components, including inverters, converters, motors, and high-voltage batteries.
• Familiarity with relevant safety standards and protocols for high-voltage systems.
• Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment for troubleshooting.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
• HV switching certification is highly desirable.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics.
