About Manor Court

Manor Court is a 100-bed residential aged care home established as a not-for-profit organisation by the Rotary Club of Werribee in 1973. Since then, Manor Court has expanded its services to meet the changing needs of the community while maintaining its roots as a community-focused alternative for residents. We offer permanent, respite, and dementia care as well as some disability services through the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS).

We are located a short walk from Werribee Station, bus stops and the local shopping precinct. We are a community-owned, not-for-profit entity and employ passionate and motivated individuals who share our main goal of providing high quality care to our residents.

About the role

You will be responsible for the delivery of care and services to residents, in accordance with the residents’ care needs, identified in the residents’ nursing care plan. This includes physical, spiritual, emotional, social & cultural needs.

PCAs work collaboratively with clinicians, carers, residents, families, support staff and relevant community agencies to facilitate an effective resident focused service.

About you

You will have:

a Certificate III or IV in Aged Care or Individual Support

preferably a First Aid Certificate

an excellent approach to teamwork in a diverse workplace

an understanding of infection control practices in a health care setting

excellent communication skills

an ability to engage with residents in a caring, engaging and supportive manner.

Other requirements

NDIS Worker Screening Check, prior to commencement

Evidence of current Influenza Vaccination

Evidence of COVID-19 vaccination
