About the role

Plasterer – New Build Project (Aged Care Facility)

Full Time Perm, Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week

Newcastle/ Maitland Region

Key Responsibilities:

Hang and fix plasterboard/drywall sheeting to a high standard across walls and ceilings.

Set and finish plasterboard joints with precision to achieve a smooth, seamless surface.

Install cornices and decorative mouldings with attention to alignment and detail.

Prepare surfaces by cleaning, leveling, and applying necessary base coats to ensure a smooth, even finish ready for painting.

Maintain high quality workmanship in line with building codes, safety regulations, and project specifications.

Work efficiently to meet construction timelines while upholding site cleanliness and safety protocols.

Collaborate with other trades and site supervisors to ensure smooth workflow and integration of tasks.

Skills and experience:

Certificate III in Solid Plastering or a Certificate III in Wall and Ceiling Lining or Carpentry preffered

Construction white card required.

Driver’s license required.

Police Check WWAC & WWCC required.

Valid Work Right Australian Citizen or PR
