Current Opportunities

Mitchelton

Care is for two children aged 3 years and 17 months on a rotating roster.

Typical shifts:

6:00am – 8:00pm

2:30pm – 8:00am

12:00pm – 8:00am

1:30pm – 11:30pm

Overnight care required approximately 3–4 nights per month

Average weekly hours: 40

$40.00 per hour

Parkwood

Care is for three children aged 3, 7, and 11 years. The children have experienced trauma, so we require an Educator who is trauma-informed, patient, and skilled at building strong, trusting relationships.

Days vary depending on the family’s roster (including some Thursdays and weekends)

Approx. 30 hours per week

$41.60 per hour

Example hours:

Weekends: 8:00am – 3:00pm and 10:00pm – 8:00am

Weekdays: 6:00am – 9:00am (includes school drop-off) and 3:00pm – 8:00pm (includes school pick-up)

Southport

Care for a 5-year-old child with complex needs. This role requires an Educator who is patient, experienced, and confident in implementing structured routines and positive behaviour support strategies.

Tuesday: 2:00pm – 8:00pm

Thursday: 2:00pm – 8:00pm

Saturday: 6:00am – 6:00pm

$38.00/40.00 per hour

Nerang – Toddlers

Care for two children aged 2 years and 1 year.

Tuesday – Thursday: 7:00am – 7:30pm

Friday: 8:00am – 5:00pm

Occasional weekends may be required

Pay: $38.50/$40.00 per hour

Nerang – School Age

Care for one 11-year-old, complex needs.

Monday – Friday: 7:00am – 9:00am and 3:00pm – 5:00pm

Paid a minimum of 3 hours per shift

Reliable car required

$41.60 per hour

Bahrs Scrub

Care for one 5-year-old.

Week 1:

Thursday 3:00pm – 11:00pm

Friday 8:00pm – 3:00am

Saturday 8:00pm – 3:00am

Week 2:

Wednesday 3:00pm – 11:00pm

Thursday 3:00pm – 11:00pm

Friday 8:00pm – 3:00pm

Pay: $40.00 per hour

Pimpama

Care is for 4 children ages 12, 10, 8 and 4 (complex needs)

Monday to Friday 6am to 9am and Monday and Wednesday 3pm to 6pm

$40.00 per hour

Highland Park

Twins 8 months old (premature)

Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday from 8.30am to 2.30pm.

$38.50/$40.00 per hour.

Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality, child care in the family home

Plan and implement engaging, developmentally appropriate activities

Communicate effectively with families

Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards

What You Need

Min Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (JP verified)

Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis certification

Blue Card and Police Clearance (less than 6 months old)

ABN and Public Liability Insurance (or willingness to obtain)

Current Child Protection Refresher Training

Minimum 2 years’ experience in early childhood or related care

Over 18 years old
