About the role

Are you looking for a Casual Retail Role at a leading building supplies company? We have an exciting opportunity for a Trade Counter Sales associate to join our team at our Tweed Heads QLD location. In this position, you will play a key role in providing excellent customer service and supporting the efficient operation of our busy trade counter.

What you'll be doing

Assisting customers at the trade counter with product inquiries, orders and purchases

Maintaining accurate inventory records and stock levels

Processing sales transactions efficiently and accurately

Providing product knowledge and advice to help customers find the right solutions

Supporting the overall operations of the trade counter and warehouse as needed

What we're looking for

Previous experience in a retail, customer service or sales role, ideally in the building supplies or hardware industry

Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to provide excellent customer service

Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and inventory management

Basic numeracy skills and attention to detail

A friendly, helpful and professional demeanor
