Are you a Project Architect looking for a new challenge? Due to increased workload, we have a six-month contract role opportunity at Therian, on a series of projects we are currently completing.

About the Role

This isn't just a job; it's a chance to make a real impact. As a registered architect, you'll be at the heart of our design process, using Revit and other software to bring client projects to life. You'll collaborate with a talented team of architects and technicians, all while reporting to the General Manager and working closely with our CEO.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the way: Take ownership of your projects from start to finish, delivering exceptional designs and documentation both individually and with the support of a team

Collaborate and grow: Work hand-in-hand with our design team to achieve outstanding results on a wide range of projects

Be a mentor: Guide and oversee other architectural staff on their projects

Uphold standards: Ensure all your design work aligns with industry best practice, the National Construction Code and relevant Australian Standards

Communicate clearly: Keep everyone in the loop—from the technicians, to the Design and General Managers to the CEO—on your project progress and timelines

What We’re Looking For

We're searching for someone who is not only a skilled architect but also a proactive, detail-oriented professional. You're the perfect fit if you:

Attention to detail: You will conduct thorough research and have an eye for noticing if something is out of place, such as in construction detail design process

Think ahead: You anticipate how your design decisions might affect other parts of a project, from engineering to construction, and adjust accordingly.

Are meticulous: You're a self-starter who checks your own work before sending it out, ensuring our documents are always top-notch.

Manage time like a pro: You can accurately estimate how long tasks will take and consistently meet your deadlines.

Support the team: You're ready to jump in and assist with sales activities, like estimating resources for new jobs, providing expertise on construction design detail and preparing design services proposals or tender submissions.

Champion our clients: You're dedicated to delivering a perfect service, whether for an internal colleague or an external client.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a forward-thinking team and contribute to a wide variety of projects. This is a six month contract, however there may be opportunity for contract extension beyond this.
