The Role

We are seeking an experienced Tiler with full bathroom completion experience to join our team for building and maintenance projects. This is an immediate start opportunity for a highly motivated, hands-on professional who enjoys variety and takes pride in their work.

You will be responsible for managing and completing full bathroom renovations, including:

Key tasks include:

Planning & Preparation – Reviewing layouts, materials, and project requirements.

Demolition – Removing old tiles, fixtures, cabinetry, and ensuring safe disposal.

Structural & Prep Work – Repairing subfloors, walls, and framing if required.

Plumbing & Electrical Rough-In – Preparing pipes, drains, and wiring for fixtures.

Waterproofing & Wall Prep – Installing waterproof membranes, backer boards, and sealing corners.

Tiling – Laying floor and wall tiles, cutting tiles to fit, grouting, and sealing.

Fixture Installation – Installing showers, baths, vanities, toilets, mirrors, and accessories.

Painting & Finishing – Painting walls and ceilings, finishing trims, and preparing the bathroom for use.

Final Connections & Testing – Connecting plumbing and electrical fixtures, testing for leaks, and ensuring all installations work perfectly.

Cleaning & Handover – Cleaning tiles and fixtures, inspecting workmanship, and providing care instructions.

About You

The successful candidate will have:

Experience in demolishing, sheeting, waterproofing, tiling, plastering, and basic painting

Proven tiling experience with full bathroom completion capability

Strong knowledge of waterproofing and bathroom fit-off requirements

Experience in preparing condition or site reports

White Card and current driver’s licence (essential)

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

(Additional trade tickets or plumbing knowledge highly regarded)
