About the role

Cabinetpro Joinery is seeking a talented Cabmaster Drafter/Designer to join our dynamic team in Dandenong South, VIC. This full-time position plays a crucial role in translating our clients' visions into functional and visually appealing cabinetry solutions.

What you'll be doing

Cabmaster software to create detailed, dimensional drawings and 3D models of custom cabinetry projects

Collaborate closely with clients to understand their design requirements and preferences, incorporating their feedback into the final designs

Produce cutting lists, material specifications, and production documentation to support the manufacturing process

Liaise with the production team to ensure the seamless execution of projects and resolve any technical issues that may arise

What we're looking for

Minimum 3 years' experience in a cabinet design or drafting role, preferably within the joinery or cabinetmaking industry

Strong proficiency in using CAD software, such as Cabinet Vision or AutoCAD

Excellent problem-solving and creative thinking skills to develop unique, functional designs

Ability to interpret client briefs, translate them into technical drawings, and effectively communicate design concepts

Strong attention to detail and the ability to work to tight deadlines
