About the role

As a Local & Interstate Truck Driver with Mt Evelyn Logistics', you will play a crucial role in the company's road transport operations. This casual position is based in Kilsyth VIC 3137, and involves the delivery of Nursery Plants & Products across local and interstate routes.

What you'll be doing

Safely operate heavy rigid trucks to transport goods

Adhere to all road safety regulations and company policies to ensure the safe delivery of goods

Plan and execute efficient delivery routes, taking into account factors such as traffic and weather conditions

Perform regular vehicle inspections and maintenance tasks to keep the truck in optimal condition

Provide excellent customer service by communicating with clients and responding to their needs

Maintain accurate records of deliveries, driving hours, and any incidents that occur

What we're looking for

A valid heavy vehicle driver's licence (HR or MC) with a clean driving record

Proven experience as a truck driver, preferably in a road transport role

Strong navigation and time management skills to ensure on-time deliveries

Excellent communication and customer service abilities

A commitment to safety and a willingness to follow all relevant regulations and procedures

The ability to work independently and as part of a team
