About the Role

Reporting to the Director of Care, you'll oversee the clinical operations of our facility, ensuring high-quality, person-centred care for every resident. As a key leader, you will mentor the care team, manage compliance and infection control processes, and drive clinical excellence in line with the Aged Care Quality Standards.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and support the care team to deliver safe, individualised care

Develop and oversee care plans, clinical assessments, and interventions

Act as the Infection Prevention & Control (IPC) Lead, ensuring regulatory compliance

Supervise staff and manage shift allocation to meet resident needs

Monitor incidents, risks, and contribute to continuous improvement

Foster strong relationships with residents, families, and external health providers

About You

Essential:

Registered Nurse (AHPRA) with minimum 2 years' experience (1+ in aged care)

IPC Lead training or willingness to obtain

Strong clinical leadership and mentoring skills

Excellent communication, time management, and decision-making abilities

Australian citizenship, PR, or valid work rights

Desirable:

Experience in care coordination and team supervision

Knowledge of AN-ACC funding and aged care compliance

High computer literacy and clinical software proficiency
