About the role

Join our team as a Kitchen and Food Preparation Assistant at The Dairy Ravensbourne Pty Ltd in Ravensbourne, QLD. In this casual role with option to move up to full time, you will play a key part in preparing delicious meals and maintaining the high standards of our kitchen for both the events and cafe!

What you'll be doing

Assist with food preparation, including chopping, slicing, and portioning ingredients

Ensure work areas, equipment, and utensils are kept clean and sanitised

Follow recipes and food safety guidelines to deliver consistent, high-quality dishes

Assist with plating and presenting meals to our customers

Restock and organise kitchen supplies as needed

Provide exceptional customer service and work collaboratively with the wider team who are great fun!

What we're looking for

Previous experience in a similar food preparation or kitchen assistant role, preferably in the hospitality or food industry

Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes and procedures

Good communication and teamwork skills

Enthusiasm for providing excellent customer service

Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment

Food safety and hygiene certification (desirable)
