Scootz Cafe' is seeking an exceptional Cafe Barista all rounder to join our dynamic team in Adelaide, South Australia.

As a casual employee, you will be responsible for providing outstanding customer service and crafting delicious coffee and beverages in a vibrant cafe environment.

Key responsibilities

Preparing and serving a range of hot and cold beverages, including espresso-based coffee, tea, smoothies and juices

Providing exceptional customer service and creating a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons

Maintaining a clean and well-organised work area, ensuring high standards of food hygiene and safety

Assisting with food preparation tasks and restocking supplies as needed

Handling cash and operating the point-of-sale system accurately

Contributing to a positive team culture and supporting your colleagues as required

What we're looking for

Minimum 12 months' experience as a barista in a cafe or similar hospitality setting

Excellent customer service skills and the ability to work well in a team

Strong attention to detail and the ability to work quickly and efficiently under pressure

An enthusiastic and friendly demeanour, with a passion for the hospitality industry

Knowledge of coffee making, including the ability to operate espresso machines and grinders

Relevant food handling and barista qualifications would be highly regarded

Australian work rights are required for this position
