Duties
  • Manage the human, financial and physical resources of Reporting Services and provide leadership and support to its team of staff to ensure effective and efficient delivery of business.
  • Deliver high level strategic advice to the Director, Strategy and Support and senior executive of DPFEM on matters relevant to state and national reporting.
  • Build and manage strong successful working relationships with stakeholders both within, and external to the DPFEM, to ensure systems and processes are in place to deliver the expected outcomes.
  • Identify and lead the development and implementation of new reporting functionality, and support and promote the use of that functionality within the Department.
  • Represent the Department in a range of technical forums relating to statistics and reporting at a state and national level
  • Manage the support of functionality developed by Reporting Services for provisioning data to ACIC systems.
  • Work collaboratively with the senior management within Business and Executive Services with respect to data and reporting relevant to Budget Estimates, Annual Reporting and other significant business processes.
  • Prepare high level correspondence, briefings and submissions on behalf of the DPFEM and the Minister as appropriate.
  • Contribute to the overall management of Strategy and Support as a senior member of the management team.
Essential Requirements

  • False alarm raising.
Desirable Requirements

A professional qualification in information technology, mathematics or statistics gained through satisfactory completion of a relevant course of study at a tertiary institution.
