About the Role

We are currently seeking a qualified and experienced Boilermaker to join our dynamic team for on-site structural steel installation. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in welding, structural steel erection, and setting out, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities

Installation of structural steel components on-site

Setting out and marking work from drawings and site plans

Performing high-quality welding (MIG, Stick or TIG – depending on project needs)

Reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications

Ensuring all work is carried out in accordance with OH&S requirements

Collaborating with site supervisors and other trades to meet project deadlines

Requirements

✅ Trade qualified Boilermaker (Certificate III in Engineering – Fabrication or equivalent)
✅ Minimum 2 years of site experience in structural steel installation
✅ Proficient in welding and fabrication techniques
✅ Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
✅ Strong understanding of setting out on construction sites
✅ White Card (Construction Induction Card)
✅ Reliable transport and full PPE
✅ Ability to work independently and as part of a team. ✅ Dogging or Rigging Basic
✅ Scissor lift below 12m and Work Platform (EWP)
