We are seeking an experienced Systems Engineer to join a leading professional services organisation in Perth on a 6-month contract. This role provides critical BAU support and covers periods of leave within the IT infrastructure team, ensuring smooth delivery of services across a busy, enterprise environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide BAU support across servers, cloud, and networking environments.
• Manage Windows Server, Active Directory, Exchange/O365, and Azure environments.
• Support identity & access management, Intune, and endpoint security.
• Troubleshoot escalated issues and ensure minimal downtime for end users.
• Maintain backup, recovery, patching, and system monitoring processes.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve technical issues promptly.

About You

• Proven experience in a Systems Engineer or similar role within enterprise IT.
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, Office 365, and Azure.
• Exposure to VMware/Hyper-V, networking, and security practices.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to manage BAU priorities.
• Strong communication and customer service mindset.
