We are seeking an experienced and reliable Storeperson to join a busy warehouse team based in Townsville. This is a casual role with the potential to go permanent for the right candidate.

Role details:

• Location: Mount St John, Townsville QLD 4818
• Pay rate: $38.43/hr + penalties
• Roster: Monday - Friday (occasional Saturdays)
• Hours: 6:30am - 3:00pm
• Type: Casual with potential temp-to-perm opportunity

What you'll be doing:

• Operate RF scanning systems to pick, pack, and prepare orders accurately
• Unload delivery vehicles, inspect goods, and check for damages or discrepancies
• Safely stock shelves and store goods in designated areas
• Assist with regular stocktakes and inventory checks
• Maintain accurate records of stock movements
• Pack and dispatch orders promptly
• Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks (if licensed)

What we're looking for:

• Previous experience in a warehouse/storeperson role
• Ability to meet KPIs for picking accuracy and productivity
• Driver's licence - mandatory
• Forklift licence - advantageous
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work well within a team
