About the role
Join our dedicated and experienced carpentry team to deliver high quality maintenance and repair services across council owned parks, facilities, and infrastructure. In this hands-on role no two days will be the same when you work on all types of projects making a positive impact to many in our community.
You will be a self-motivated, safety conscious carpenter with broad experience who thrives both working independently and in a team environment.
Some of your key responsibilities will include:
- Provide high quality carpentry services
- Work with both contractors and trade staff
- Undertake and deliver programmed and reactive maintenance services
- Source and purchase materials

About you
To be successful in this role you will have:
- A current C Class Driver's Licence
- Trade Certificate relevant to the Carpenter service trade
- Demonstrated experience in carpentry maintenance and scheduling work
- A drive to constantly improve your skills and participate in opportunities to learn
- The ability to work in a fast paced, ever-changing work environment
- Belief in our values of safety and wellbeing, communication, collaboration, integrity, efficiency and leadership
About the benefits
This is a full-time permanent position with a salary band of $74,110 to $89,442 plus 12.5% superannuation
