Delivery Driver - 30% Workload

Able to follow instructions – understand maps, self-navigate in a timely manner

Knowledge of general vehicle maintenance – including start-up procedures

Must hold a current Australian driver's license

Must hold a current C class (car) driver's license

Customer relations – communicate delivery instructions with customers in a friendly and clear manner

Dispatch and consigning of orders – organise delivery runs including delivery items, schedule, locations and special delivery instructions

Displays initiative and can work autonomously

Loading vehicle prior to departure including all required installation equipment

Ability to operate a large van for delivery purposes

Ensure safe delivery and installation of customer orders – this includes managing delivery to avoid any damage to stock during transit, delivery and installation

Ensuring the correct processes and procedures are followed

Maintain a good level of fitness to ensure team safety during deliveries

Furniture assembly - 70% Workload

Ability to work to a production schedule – this includes understanding all assembly instructions

Ensure correct furniture assembly as per delivery dockets

Ensure timely assembly with prioritisation of customer work orders and delivery schedules

Ensure no damage to goods during assembly

Ensure all tools are maintained in a good working order – this includes all tools to be packed away at the end of each day

Safety mindset and the ability to follow safety procedures

Experience using hand tools desirable

There is regular manual handling, so a good level of physical fitness is required

Ability to safely handle items weighing up to 20kg during manual handling tasks
