The role:
Our client, a multi-site gold producer, is seeking a Senior Underground Surveyor to join an established project. You and your team will ensure that all survey requirements are successful for the operation.

Duties Include:

Manage the underground survey function to ensure optimal support to the operation

Ensure that all survey activities are undertaken in accordance with mine design

Regularly communicate with the Underground Manager regarding survey activities including any budget variations

Provide coaching, mentoring and support to the underground mine surveyors

Provide technical and surveying support to the operation

Develop, implement and manage accurate emergency plans

Participate in all health, safety, environment and HR activities related to the role.

You bring:

5+ years post graduate experience (ideally 2 years in a Senior role)

At least 3+ years' experience within Australia

Grade 1 - Mine Surveyors Authorisation certificate

Technical and working knowledge of relevant mining legislation

Proficiency in relevant mining/survey software and instruments. Site package includes: Surpac, MSO, Leica, CMS and C-ALS, Trimble, Agisoft & Quickslope.
