The Opportunity
Our dynamic Ramsay Surgical Centre Charlestown is seeking Registered and Endorsed Enrolled Nurses for our 12-bed inpatient ward. Our Surgical specialities for this ward include Plastics and reconstructive surgeries, ENT, general and colorectal.
Reporting to the Nurse Unit Manager, you will perform duties with the support and guidance of the Department Manager, Clinical Nurse, Team and Shift Leaders to ensure a high level of quality patient care is delivered in line with the care values and strategic direction of the Hospital and Ramsay Health Care.
Skills and Experience
To succeed in this role, you will be an experienced Registered or Enrolled Nurse with a positive attitude will enable you to work effectively alongside our team of professionals and independently as required.
You will also demonstrate:
- Relevant qualifications and Registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse or Enrolled Nurse
- Enrolled Nurses will be medication endorsed and IV Qualified
- Minimum two (2) years post graduate experience
- Relevant nursing experience on a surgical ward
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently as required
Remuneration
On offer is base hourly rate ranging from:
Registered Nurse - $37.75 - $53.02 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances. (NSW RN/Midwife gr1-gr8)
Enrolled Nurse - $33.95 - $36.96 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances. (NSW EN gr1-thereafter)

Requirements
- Must provide a National Police Check conducted within the previous 12 months
