Cefn Pty Ltd is a progressive, family-owned and operated business specialising in all aspects of pig production. We have been farming the Clifton district since 1933, and today employ over 140 staff across multiple sites located in the Clifton, Leyburn and Yelarbon areas.

The Cefn Feed Mill is located 10kms north of Leyburn, approximately 45 minutes from Toowoomba and Warwick on the Darling Downs.

The mill manufactures all Cefn's feed requirements from our automated 10 T/hr Skiold pellet mill. Our dedicated feed mill team work between 3 different shifts (5am-1:30pm), (10am-6:30pm) and (2:00pm - 10:30pm) on a 3-weekly rotating basis. Daily tasks include but are not limited to, receiving and sampling of raw ingredients, scheduling of production runs, computer operations, refilling supply bins, forklift operation, cleaning and basic maintenance.

Experience in a similar field is beneficial but not essential as Cefn can provide all onsite training required to be successful in this position. Performing well can lead to further training and development opportunities within the company for those who wish to further their careers with Cefn.

The successful candidate will require the following skills:

Good communication

Intermediate computer knowledge

Logical thinking and ability to follow systems

Ability to work well in a small team environment and unsupervised

Forklift ticket, or willingness to obtain one
