What you’ll do
Service, maintain and repair outdoor power equipment (2‑/4‑stroke small engines, ride‑on mowers, utility vehicles, large tractors and implements).
Perform daily safety checks, fault finding and preventative maintenance.
Assist with mower set‑ups and cutting unit adjustments (height‑of‑cut, quality‑of‑cut).
Blade/reel sharpening and basic fabrication/repairs as you learn.
Keep accurate maintenance logs and help maintain a tidy, safe workshop.
Pitch in with the course team on morning set‑ups when needed.
Training & qualification (TAFE requirement)
As part of your apprenticeship, you will enrol in and attend TAFE to complete the Certificate III in Outdoor Power Equipment.
We’ll support your training and schedule and give you the time to attend classes
What you’ll bring
Genuine interest in mechanics and working with your hands.
Reliable, safety‑minded and eager to learn.
Comfortable working indoors and outdoors with early mornings.
Own car/transport and a current driver’s licence (required) to travel to work and TAFE.
Team player with a positive attitude. No prior golf industry experience required.
The equipment you’ll get to know
Small: blowers, trimmers, chainsaws, walk‑behind mowers.
Medium: greens/tees/rough mowers (reel & rotary), utility carts, sprayers.
Large: compact–large tractors, loaders and turf implements (aerators, topdressers, etc.).
