The Role
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our community-based care team in our Gold Coast and North NSW regions. This role is part-time permanent (PPT) with hours available Monday, Wednesday, and Friday or Monday to Friday, depending on requirements. You will play a key role in delivering high-quality nursing services to veterans and their families, supporting them to remain independent and safe in their homes.

Please note: This role is not open to graduate or newly registered RNs. Applicants must have a minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Registered Nurse, with prior community-based experience strongly preferred.

Primary Purpose
As a Registered Nurse, you will deliver person-centred, holistic nursing care to our clients, with a focus on achieving positive health outcomes and maintaining dignity and independence. You will work collaboratively with our Client Care Advocate RN, Enrolled Nurses and Personal Care Workers, ensuring every client receives care that is tailored to their individual needs.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

Current AHPRA Registration as a Registered Nurse

5+ years post-registration nursing experience (mandatory)

Previous community-based nursing experience (highly regarded)

Current First Aid, Manual Handling and CPR certificate

Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and within a multidisciplinary team

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with clients and families

Strong clinical knowledge, problem-solving, and time management skills

A compassionate and professional approach, with a commitment to maintaining professional boundaries

Current driver’s licence and a reliable vehicle
