About the Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission

The Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission (Commission) is the national regulator of Commonwealth funded aged care services. We work with stakeholders to foster a world-class sector that safeguards the wellbeing and rights of older Australians receiving aged care.

We offer a variety of interesting and challenging jobs across most capital cities. It is an exciting time to join the Commission, with major reforms underway to improve aged care in Australia. You will be contributing to our vision for older Australians to trust and have confidence that aged care services protect and enhance their safety, health and quality of life.

About the Team

The Design, Internal Communications and Intranet section leads delivery of a range of communications and design activities in support of the Commission’s dynamic internal communication strategy, the governance of the Commission’s intranet and the design and production of all Commission branded materials for internal and external publication.

About the Role

This position supports the operations of the graphic design and video production team, which provides brand advice to internal business areas Commission wide and helps evolve the Commission’s brand assets and adherence to brand, style and accessibility standards.

You will be working within a team of communication and design professionals in a supportive and inclusive work environment. Contribute to the development and delivery of digital and print products that are clear, compelling and visually engaging to internal and external audiences. This includes design and production services of products for First Nations’ Australians and culturally and linguistically diverse audiences.

Position duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Design support: Under general direction, create and update products (PowerPoint, Word, design, video files) to ensure alignment with the Commission’s brand, style and accessibility standards.
  • Promotion and advice: As part of the team, provide reviews and advice to internal stakeholders to assist in the uplift of awareness and application of brand, style and accessibility standards to publications, presentations, templates, videos and events. Contribute to the development of guidance materials, templates and training sessions.
  • Asset management: Contribute to maintenance of digital assets and libraries.
  • Administration support: Undertake ad hoc administration to meet the needs of the team, including working with suppliers and reporting.
  • Relationship management: Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to build and maintain positive working relationships, respond to all enquiries and requests in a positive and timely manner.
