In the role of Project Coordinator, you will plan and coordinate the activities of multi functional work crews across civil infrastructure to ensure efficient performance across the works program. You will assist with monitoring project management systems to ensure compliance with the Workplace Health and Safety legislation, Environmental legislation and Quality Assurance System.
In this dynamic role, some of your responsibilities will include:
• Assist with management of resources, subcontractors, suppliers and internal resources for projects to ensure operational efficiency.
• Assist with programming and managing the short-term works program.
• Support and assist with building cohesive, effective teams with assistance from project Supervisors.
• Mentor, coach and provide development opportunities for project staff.
Mandatory qualifications and conditions:
• Applicants must possess a current, valid Queensland "C" class driver's licence or equivalent.
• A reasonable amount of travel consistent with industry standards will be required throughout the operational unit and/or the State. You will be entitled to expenses and allowances for such travel.
Desirable requirements:
• Completion of Certificate IV Project Management
• Frontline Management Qualification
• Certificate IV in Civil Supervision
