Dorrigo Multi-Purpose Service is a 27 bed facility with six inpatient beds, 21 aged care beds and a 24-hour Emergency Department. A limited range of community and allid health services are also available, including home care packages and ambulatory care services on an outreach basis from Coff Harbour Health Campus.
A Government Access Centre is located in and partially integrated with, the Dorrigo MPS providing a range of government services includng Roads and Maritime Services, Centrelink and Countrylink.

About You
We want to hear from you if you meet the following criteria
Flexible & Committed: You’re available to work a rotating 7-day roster, including public holidays, weekends, and all shifts—morning, afternoon, and night
- Registered with AHPRA: You hold current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.
- Critical Care Expertise: You bring extensive hands-on experience in Emergency Nursing, including advanced clinical skills such as Advanced Life Support and Triage.
- Versatility in Care: You’re adaptable and confident working across both Residential Aged Care and Emergency/Outpatient Services, with a strong foundation in acute healthcare and a deep understanding of aged care needs.
- Exceptional Communicator: Your written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills shine—especially when using clinical IT systems and navigating sensitive conversations.
- Collaborative Problem Solver: You’re a proactive thinker who thrives in multidisciplinary teams, ensuring coordinated and patient-centred care.

About Mid North Coast Local Health District
Mid North Coast Local Health District (MNCLHD) covers an area of 11,335 square kilometres extending from Port Macquarie Hastings Local Government Area in the south to Coffs Harbour Local Government Area in the north.
MNCLHD is a non commercial government funded health organisation that provides quality health care at public hospitals in Bellingen, Coffs Harbour, Dorrigo, Kempsey, Macksville, Port Macquarie and Wauchope.
There are 10 Community Health Centres in the District which are located at Bellingen, Camden Haven, Coffs Harbour, Dorrigo, Kempsey, Macksville, Port Macquarie, South West Rocks, Wauchope and Woolgoolga.
The Mid North Coast has one of the fastest growing and ageing populations in NSW, with MNCLHD providing a diverse range of services to a population of about 215,000 people.
