Are you a reliable and physically fit labourer looking for ongoing, full-time hours with the potential to go permanent? We are currently seeking General Labourers and Skilled Labourers with Forklift Licences (or willing to obtain) to join a busy and well-respected steel manufacturing business in Ipswich.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a thriving team with consistent hours, overtime, and weekend work available during peak periods.

What's on offer:

• Immediate start with consistent Monday to Friday hours
• Casual position with potential to go permanent after 6 months (subject to performance)
• Opportunities for overtime and weekend work
• Day and afternoon shifts available

Shift Times:

• Day Shift: 5:00am - 1:00pm (plus overtime & weekend work)
• Afternoon Shift: 1:00pm - 9:00pm (plus overtime & weekend work)

Duties include:

• Operating forklifts to move heavy steel products (if licensed)
• Manual handling of lightweight steel
• Hand wiring and strapping
• Use of hand and power tools
• General labouring tasks

To be successful, you will need:

• A current Forklift Licence (or willingness to obtain)
• Your own PPE: long sleeve hi-vis shirt, long pants, and steel cap lace-up boots
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test
• Be physically fit and able to lift up to 25kg
• Ability to perform repetitive manual tasks
