Our client, a Western Australian ASX-listed gold explorer with a significant high-grade gold deposit in one of WA’s premier gold districts, is seeking experienced Carpenters and Plumbers to assist with short-term site upgrade works. These FIFO roles will focus on camp upgrades, refurbishments, and general maintenance across the project site.

Carpenters

Roster: 2/1 FIFO ex-Perth
Duration: Short-term contract

Requirements:

Carpentry trade qualification, or proven carpentry experience

Valid Australian manual driver’s licence

Strong organisational and communication skills

Ability to pass pre-employment medical (incl. drug & alcohol)

Current National Police Clearance

Willingness to comply with site-specific clearances

Duties:

General carpentry work on camp buildings and infrastructure

Upgrades, refurbishments, and fit-out tasks

Reading and interpreting plans and drawings

Delivering safe, high-quality workmanship

Plumbers

Roster: 2:1 FIFO ex-Perth
Duration: 2–3 month contract

Requirements:

WA Full Plumbing Licence (Gas Fitting Licence desirable)

Current driver’s licence, white card, and hepatitis vaccinations

National Police Clearance

Camp maintenance experience is desirable

Machinery/High Risk tickets viewed favourably

Duties:

Maintenance of portable buildings in camp settings

Drainage, PVC, and copper piping installation/repairs

Preventive and corrective camp maintenance

Fault diagnostics, refurbishments, and camp facility upgrades
