The Role

We are seeking reliable and motivated Process Workers to join a busy seed processing facility in Toowoomba. This hands-on role involves working with specialised machinery in a fast-paced production environment. You'll be part of a collaborative team, operating and maintaining equipment to ensure high-quality outcomes while following strict safety and hygiene standards.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you'll play a key part in ensuring efficient operations and product quality. Your responsibilities include:

• Operating seed coating and grading equipment efficiently
• Carrying out daily maintenance to minimise downtime
• Maintaining high hygiene standards to prevent contamination
• Following quality control procedures and reporting pest activity
• Ensuring seeds meet specifications through treatment and sampling
• Completing accurate and timely paperwork
• Monitoring consumable stock levels for ongoing operations
• Following all health, safety, and environmental procedures
• Reporting hazards and only operating machinery with correct training
• Safely operating and maintaining machinery and vehicles

Benefits

• $32.04 per hour plus penalty rates
• Until around February (depending on season)
• Approx. 40-50 hours per week

Your Skills & Experience

To succeed in this role, you'll bring:

• A current Forklift Licence is desirable.
• Experience with fixed plant machinery in a similar environment
• Excellent verbal communication skills
• Strong teamwork and reliability
• Ability to operate machinery safely and follow procedures
