About the opportunity

Uniting Treetops Preschool in Warriewood is a purpose-built preschool operating from 8am – 4pm during term time. Treetops is situated in a beautiful bushland setting within the grounds of Pittwater Uniting Church. Our programs have a strong focus on inclusion, providing an engaging, warm, and inspiring play-based learning environment.

This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated Diploma Qualifies Educator to join our team on a permanent full-time basis (38 hours per week) during school terms. Part-time job share role will be considered.

You will:

• Be part of a supportive team environment that values collaboration through sharing information and teamwork.
• Build rapport with children through play, engage in conversations and creating learning experiences around children’s interests.
• Contribute to document children’s learning through observations and assessments against learning outcomes
• Use your imagination, creativity, and critical thinking skills to enrich the program

What I need to succeed?

• Diploma in Early Childhood Education
• Current first aid/asthma and anaphylaxis management
• Current Working with Children Check and National Police Check
• Knowledge of Child Protection practices and the National Child Safe Standards
• Understanding of the National Quality Framework and EYLF
• A willingness to engage and incorporate our Christian ethos into daily curriculum is expected
• A passion for nature pedagogy is desirable
