About the role

We are seeking a full-time Solar Labourer to join our team at eco sparks solar and electrical contractors in Darwin, NT. As a Solar Labour, you will play a crucial role in the installation and maintenance of solar power systems, working closely with our experienced electricians and technicians to deliver high-quality service to our customers.

What you'll be doing

• Assisting in the installation of solar panels, inverters, and other system components
• Performing general labour tasks such as lifting, carrying, and moving equipment
• Providing support to the electricians and technicians during the installation and maintenance of solar power systems
• Ensuring work sites are kept clean, safe, and organised
• Adhering to all safety protocols and regulations
• Maintaining tools and equipment in good working condition

What we're looking for

• Experience in the trades or construction industry, preferably with some exposure to renewable energy or electrical work
• Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions
• Strong physical fitness and stamina to perform manual labour tasks
• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Commitment to safety and a willingness to learn
