We’re on the lookout for an Entry-Level Lab Technician to join our strong, expanding team.
If you're looking to grow your skills in a large-scale operation, this is a great opportunity for a recent graduate or someone wanting to advance their horticulture career. You’ll follow a tailored training program under the supervision of our Head Grower. Throughout this program, you’ll gain hands-on experience and knowledge in key areas such as integrated pest management, pest and disease identification and solutions, fertigation, and environmental management within growing areas.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Watering
Plant pathology
Operating irrigation systems for watering and fertigation
Use of organic crop protectants
Spraying and drenching crops
Water and soil testing
Pest and disease scouting and diagnosis
Managing and controlling the greenhouse environment
Research & Diagnosis
Crop planning
Sticky trap analysis
Plant Propagation
Growing media testing and analysis
What we require from you:
Minimum 1-2 years’ horticulture experience
ChemCert or equivalent chemical application licence (required)
Formal horticulture qualification (desirable, not essential)
You’re reliable, hardworking, and eager to keep learning
You take pride in your work and have great attention to detail
You enjoy working in a diverse, friendly team environment but can also work autonomously
A career in this field often involves working in various weather conditions, and occasional weekend work may be required for tasks like plant watering. We offer a flexible schedule with a mix of weekday and weekend shifts to meet full-time hours.
