As a Machine Operator at VICTORIA CARPETS, you'll be responsible for operating production machinery to ensure the highest quality carpets. Your day-to-day tasks will include:

· Operating and monitoring industrial machinery to ensure optimum operational efficiency to keep production moving

· Checking product quality and making necessary adjustments

· Following safety procedures and maintaining a clean workspace

· Reporting wear and tear of machines

· Basic maintenance, general cleaning and housekeeping of work areas and machinery

· Troubleshooting minor mechanical issues and escalating as needed

Necessary requirements:

· The ability to lift up to 20kgs

· Physically fit and able to be on your feet for at least 8 hours each day, and carry out repetitive manual tasks

· Available to work different shifts if required

· A demonstrated employment history of reliability

· Basic computer & literacy skills for following instructions and logging production data

· A demonstrated employment history of reliability and a good attendance record

· The ability to work on your own, and in a team environment

· Willingness to learning new skills to become a multi-skilled team member

· Australian citizenship required
