About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Height Safety Certifier to join our team. This role involves inspecting, testing, and certifying height safety systems, ensuring compliance with Australian Standards, regulations, and company procedures. You will work closely with clients, project managers, and our technical team to deliver high-quality, reliable certification services.
This is a permanent full-time position with immediate start.
Key Responsibilities
Inspect, test, and certify height safety systems (anchors, static lines, guardrails, ladders, etc.)
Conduct recertification of existing height safety installations
Prepare and issue compliance reports and certification documentation
Identify and report on defects, non-compliance, and required remedial works
Provide expert advice to clients on compliance, safety, and maintenance requirements
Ensure all work complies with WHS legislation, Australian Standards, and company policies
About You
Proven experience in height safety, access equipment, or related industries
Knowledge of Australian Standards (AS/NZS 1891, AS/NZS 5532, etc.)
Trade qualification in construction, mechanical, electrical, or similar (preferred)
Strong attention to detail with a commitment to safety and compliance
Good written and verbal communication skills for reporting and client liaison
Current White Card and Working at Heights ticket (essential)
Driver’s Licence (essential)
