Our Service:

We are an 'Exceeding' not for profit OOSH service located in the grounds of a beautiful and spacious school. We are committed to provide fun and quality care to children aged between 5-12 years. We are open 7am - 9am in the mornings and 3-6.15pm in the afternoons. We also operate during school holidays between 7.30am and 6.15pm.

Positions available:

Casuals:

We are looking for casuals who are available to work at least 2-3 afternoons a week between 2-6.15pm and some mornings between 7-9.30am.

Experience with children (paid or volunteer), or leading younger people is required. You do need to have a strong interest in working with children and a passion for giving them the best possible outcomes.

Casual positions are perfect for Uni students or those returning to the workforce or looking to work short hours. You need to be driven, switched on, and willing to have fun while still getting through necessary work.

For this position you will need a working with children check (or willing to obtain before starting). You must also be willing to undertake further training including first aid and child protection.

Responsibilities:

Assisting in the preparation, implementation and evaluation of developmentally appropriate programs for children

Assist the Lead educators in daily observations of the children

Nurture strong relationships with staff, families and children

Ensure all compliance requirements are met with relevant regulations and standards

Drive continuous improvement and development of the service and children

Supervising children, ensuring health and safety needs are met

Have FUN and be engaged with the children
