The Role:
We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Refrigeration Service Technician to join our dynamic team. This is a field-based role requiring travel to client sites to carry out servicing, fault-finding, and repairs on a wide range of commercial kitchen equipment including cool rooms, fridge, freezer, ice machines and more. Experience with dishwashers and ovens and other commercial catering equipment would be an advantage.

Travel radius will be statewide with potential for extensive travel required.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform reactive and preventative maintenance on a variety of commercial catering equipment

Diagnose faults and complete repairs in a timely and professional manner

Complete job reports and documentation using service management software (e.g., Simpro)

Communicate effectively with clients and internal teams

Ensure all work complies with safety standards and manufacturer specifications

You will need to understand maintaining equipment, be able to think on your feet and use the resources that will be available to provide a proactive solution to your clients.

About You:

Proven experience as a Refirgeration service technician

Minimum 3+ years of commercial kitchen equipment technician experience required

Electrical and refrigeration appliance servicing experience

Full, valid driver's license

Be licensed for Refrigeration

Must hold a current refrigeration trade certificate

Must hold a current Restricted Electrical licence at the time of application

Excellent fault-finding and diagnostic skills

Strong communication, time management, and customer service skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Enjoy building relationships and trust with clients

Police clearance and working with children will be required

Willingness to participate in an on-call roster

Tools of the trade (preferred)
