SRE Electrical is growing, and we’re looking for a qualified electrician with industrial and commercial experience to join our South-East Queensland team. This role focuses on medical installations, offering a unique opportunity to work in a specialised and evolving field.

What you’ll be doing:

Working both independently and as part of our team, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

Performing maintenance on commercial and industrial buildings – predominantly in the medical sector

Data

Conducting compliance testing (e.g. test and tag)

Installing and repairing data cabling

Contributing to electrical construction projects

Supporting apprentice/s

Collaborating with management to ensure smooth and safe daily operations

Following procedures and maintaining compliance standards

Representing SRE with professionalism and a positive, can-do attitude

Delivering excellent client service through strong communication skills

Required qualifications:

Current electrical licence

Valid driver’s licence

Ability to pass a National Police Check

Strong understanding of Workplace Health & Safety (WHS)

White card – construction induction

Desirable experience:

AS/NZS 4024 (Safety of Machinery) standards, including part 1204 (Electrical Equipment of Machines)

AS/NZS 3000 (Wiring Rules) and AS/NZS 3003 (Electrical Installations-Patient Areas)

Data and security

EWPA Yellow Card (Scissor Lift module SL)

Security licence
