This is a full time, 12-month fixed-term contract.
Our client is one of Australia's largest and oldest providers of Social Care services, offering competitive benefits, enhancing career longevity for their employees! They are looking for an experienced caseworker to join their diverse, experienced and well-established team in Western Sydney. Our Client offers flexible working arrangements including from home and flexible start/finish times.
This role will involve;
- Managing a caseload of children and young people in foster care
- Collaborate with multiple stakeholders to support children and young people including birth families and foster and kinship carers
- Undertake comprehensive risk assessments and conduct home visits
- Identify strengths of families as well as areas where risk is high, ensuring children and young people have a voice in the process
- Facilitate groups and workshops relating to the service
- Produce clear, concise and accurate documentation and reports according to set timelines
- Work collectively with your team to reflect on practice and enhance decision making processes
The requirements for this role include;
- Bachelor of Social Work, Psychology, Counselling or a related field
- Minimum 2 years casework experience in a relevant Child & Family program
- Understanding of child protection legislation
- Current driver’s licence and WWCC
