About The Role

VeteranCann is on the lookout for passionate and motivated Registered Nurses to join our team. If you have an interest in alternative medicine and symptom management - then this could be the position for you!

We are looking for conscientious, compassionate nurses who possess effective communication skills and a high level of attention to detail whilst providing the highest quality patient assessment and care.

This is a remote role open to candidates across Australia.

What You'll Do

Handling telephone based patient consultations in an appointment setting for our doctors - including patient screening and data entry.

Completing accurate assessments to enable patients to apply for DVA funded alternative treatments.

Carrying out follow-up appointments where needed.

Communicating with internal departments such as medical assistants, customer service and management.

What You’ll Need

Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).

A minimum of 3 years post graduate experience.

Current professional indemnity insurance.

Be an advocate for alternative treatments & symptom management.

The ability to work between 9am - 5:30pm Monday to Friday.

Proficient with technology including the use of patient/clinician appointment software, Google Workspace, Deputy and Slack.

A friendly and confident telephone manner, with experience providing clinical care and telephonic advice.
