About the Role

You will play a pivotal role in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the well-being of residents in aged care and healthcare facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop care plans tailored to individual needs.

Administer medications and monitor patient responses as per prescribed treatments.

Provide wound care, IV therapy, and other clinical interventions as required.

Monitor and record vital signs, ensuring all documentation meets compliance standards.

Supervise and mentor Enrolled Nurses (ENs) and Assistants in Nursing (AINs).

Maintain infection control practices and ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.

Act as a point of contact for families, providing updates and addressing concerns.

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver holistic care.

Manage emergencies and escalate concerns when necessary.

Mandatory Criteria:

Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Registered Nurse (essential).

Must have experience working in Aged Care as a Registered Nurse

Current AHPRA registration.

Strong knowledge of aged care standards and compliance requirements.

Valid police check and the right to work in Australia.

Exceptional communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
