Commercial Turf Installer - Casual

Job Overview

Our Commercial Division is responsible for the installation of turf for our clients. The functions of this role includes working as part of a team, assisting the Commercial Manager in ensuring that offsite jobs are completed to a high standard, and meet client requirements.

It is expected that the incumbent of this position will undertake other reasonable duties and tasks requested by their supervisor, within their capabilities, including additional duties as required during periods of absence of other staff.

Duties & Responsibilities

Work as part of a team to ensure commercial jobs are completed to a high standard, with signoff by client/customer

Liaise with manager and other company divisions as required

Prepare ground and install roll-on turf

Operate equipment and machinery as required

Ensure Commercial Compound is organised and well maintained

Qualifications, Skills and Experience

Essential:

Physically fit and able to work in all weather conditions

Hold an unrestricted C-class driver's license

Flexibility for early starts eg. 5-7am with possible late finishes eg. 3-5pm

Ability to be punctual, work regular hours during the week with overtime where required

An eye for detail

Ability to work well in a team environment

Desirable:

Certificate III in Sports Turf Management or equivalent

HR or HC Driver's License

Forklift Ticket

Experience in landscaping/turf installation highly regarded

White Card

Valid First Aid accreditation

Inductions and training provided.

Pay rate is a guide only and will be determined on qualifications, skills and experience.
