As a Field Ranger, you will use a company van to transport a cargo bike into the city.

The role will involve loading and unloading e-bikes from the van, distributing the e-bikes throughout the city, relocating them from low traffic to high traffic areas, swapping batteries and performing ad hoc tasks as required. This unique role blends driving with a positive community impact by optimally positioning e-bikes compliant with council parking regulations. Thus, providing an awesome community and rider experience.

Role: Field Ranger (Van)

Start Date: ASAP

Duration: Ongoing

Hours: 6am-2pm or 10pm-6am on a rotating roster. 3-4 days per week.

Pay Rates:

Weekdays: $32.31 p/hr for day shift and $38.78 for night

Saturday: $45.24

Sunday: $58.16

Public Holiday: $71.09

Responsibilities:

Operate from one of our vans around Sydney to transport e-bikes into the CBD

Load and unload e-bikes from the Van

Use smart device applications to locate and operate devices

Respond to various tasks as they are assigned

Ability to work under minimal supervision

A team environment where safety and quality are a priority

Troubleshoot technical issues on site

Requirements:

Over the age of 25 (for vehicle insurance purposes)

Experience driving a van in the city

Full, unrestricted Australian driver license with a clean record

Tech Savvy is preferred

Ability to be very active and bend and lift up to 8 kg frequently

A great attitude and ability to work well with others, teamwork is key to success!

Comfortable working alone

Previous delivery, mechanical, logistics, and inventory experience is a bonus

Knowledge of local area geography and street layout preferred but not required.

Comfortable with using an app to locate e-bikes
