ELIGIBILITY
To apply, you must:
Have valid Australian working rights
Be completing a preservice (primary or secondary) teaching degree in 2025
Have passed the Literacy and Numeracy Test for Initial Teacher Education Students (evidence)
Be eligible for Queensland College of Teachers registration

About Townsville Catholic Education

With a network of 29 schools and more than 2,500 staff throughout the Diocese, the Townsville Catholic Diocese offers a diverse range of opportunities.
Under the direction of Bishop Tim Harris, Bishop of the Diocese of Townsville, and organisational leadership of our Executive Director, Jacqui Francis, the Townsville Catholic Education Office (TCEO), a team of more than 70 people, support our schools in various areas of speciality. These include religious education, curriculum, ICT, Indigenous education, counselling, speech pathology, hearing and vision impairment, early years education, employment services, finance, planning and development and marketing.
The Diocese of Townsville covers an area that extends from Proserpine in the south through to Ingham in the north, and also extends west to the Northern Territory border. This includes the major commercial centres of Townsville and Mount Isa and several rural and remote communities including Palm Island.
