Nara Community Early Learning Centre is a community-based non-profit, early learning education and care centre. Nara is a 68 place Early Learning Centre located in Preston.

We deliver long day education and care along with 3- and 4-year-old integrated Kindergarten programs.

We are looking for 1 full time passionate and inspirational Early Childhood Educators to join our team. You will have previous experience with strong communication, motivation and commitment to early childhood education and care. Initial contract will be for a 12-month fixed term period with a view to extend.

We are seeking a part-time early childhood educator who is passionate, inspirational, and possesses strong leadership skills with an ambition to grow professionally.

The role of Early Childhood Educator is:

Ability to assist in the provision of a developmentally appropriate program for the children, in partnership with the Educational Leader, children and parents.

To develop and maintain strong, respectful relationships between educators, families, and children.

Develop and deliver a play-based program that is linked to the curriculum that fosters children's learning and development.

Work in a cooperative, flexible and professional manner with children, parents, staff, other professionals and management.

Well-developed self-motivation skills and initiative and demonstrated commitment to high quality professional development and reflective practice.

Understanding of the Victoria Early Years Learning and Development Framework (VEYLDF), National Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS)

Embed and comply with National Regulations, Law, Victoria Child Safe Standards and Nara CELC's policies and procedures.

Applicants must have:

Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care (ACECQA recognised),

A Current WWCC and Police Check

Current First Aid, Anaphylaxis, Asthma, Child Protection and Food handler Certificates.

High Level of written and verbal communication

Must be a permanent Australian resident or have rights to work in Australia Supporting.
