Work across 2 practice locations: PARAFIELD and UNLEY, or negotiate to suit preferred.
Full Administration support
Enjoy working across a range of practice areas and service frameworks to broaden skills and maintain variety
Additional funding for CPD, internal topical guest speakers, team breakfasts
Internal individual supervision provided by an experienced Clinical Psychologist, as well as regular peer supervision
Initial low output demands while you integrate into the business- building up to a full portfolio
Salary negotiable depending on skills and experience
Access to AI to support with documentation (dependent on skills, experience and tenure)
THE ROLE
Subject to experience, the role provides the opportunity to take on senior functions, supporting our Lead Psychologist including supporting junior and provisional psychologists with supervision, QA of documents, supporting the onboarding and development of team members and facilitation and development of other trainings. The role will be designed to be highly varietal and provide a strong foundation for growth into mentoring and leadership responsibilities, whilst the client facing component will allow for exposure to a range of client presentations and service frameworks in individual sessions, as well as assessment opportunities.
Dependant on your registration and experience you will be responsible for:
· Direct F2F psychological therapy
· Provision of effective, evidence based clinical assessments, therapy, motivational and behavioural counselling to a range of clients including NDIS ,Medicare, SA Workers Compensation, EAP, private assessments
· Appling appropriate clinical interventions including individualised treatment plans, evidence-based intervention, counselling , consulting and liaison with stakeholders and the wider care team.
· Administering psychometric, behavioural and cognitive assessments and report writing
· Staff support- mentoring , supervision, QA, onboarding
· Involvement with planning service and procedural changes to suit contracts and improve internal performance

YOU
ESSENTIAL:
· AHPRA REGISTERED - General or Clinical , with min 3 years post registration experience
· Skills/ knowledge of a variety of evidence based interventions e.g., CBT, ACT , DBT skills, motivational interviewing, solutions-focused therapy, trauma therapy (e.g., CPT) and other leading evidenced based therapies
· Past experience providing 1:1 therapy
· Interest / experience working with adults, young people and children (we typically see clients aged 8 – 65 years, however at times accept referrals for younger clients)
· NDIS worker screening check (or eligible), Working with Children Check & National Police Clearance
· Own vehicle
· Able to maintain highly professional conduct and positive work behaviours especially in the areas of client communication and expectation management
· Excellent skills in maintaining clear, concise and timely record keeping
· Exceptional written and verbal communication
· Agile with a growth mindset and committed to learning and professional development
· Willingness to contribute and participate in peer discussions and team events
· Demonstrated ability to uphold highest level of personal integrity and ethical behaviour
· Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
· Able to provide positive referees / references
DESIRABLE
· Board Approved Supervisor Registration (or eligibility and willingness/interest in completing the training)
· Experience with delivering assessments such as psychoeducational/cognitive assessments, ADHD assessments, Autism assessments, functional capacity assessments
· Past experience providing supervision / support to psychologists or other mental health professionals
· Training in EMDR, Schema Therapy, DBT Experience and interest working with young children and adolescents, neurodivergence and trauma
