About the role
Lismore Base Hospital Pharmacy is seeking a motivated General Medical Pharmacist to join the team and deliver high-quality clinical and pharmaceutical services across designated specialty areas.
This position is responsible for the operational oversight of pharmacy services within the general medical wards, outpatient clinics, and outpatient group education programs. The role encompasses managerial, clinical, and dispensary duties, ensuring a balanced and comprehensive contribution to the department’s services.
As part of a multidisciplinary team, you will assist in the training and development of pharmacy staff while also contributing to the review and implementation of protocols and policies. A strong focus will be placed on compliance with legislative requirements and the promotion of safe, effective, and patient-centred medication management.
The role works closely with other senior pharmacists and supports the Director of Pharmacy in delivering safe, cost-effective, and high-quality pharmacy services. With a commitment to patient-centred care, this position plays an important part in achieving optimal health outcomes for the community.
